The world we live in can be a pretty tough place to live in sometimes, and our silent suffering only makes it all the more difficult. I believe we need to break down the barriers of communication and talk about the tough stuff. I believe we need to share our stories in the hope that it will help others overcome their pain and suffering.
My next guest is a beautiful example of exactly that. Her courageousness and bravery, to be honest, puts the rest of us to shame. Annie Jones, from Australia’s Sunshine Coast is a quintessential young Australian woman, Pretty, Bright and Bold.
Her childhood was very normal, a loving household, good friends, with plenty of time swimming and playing and having fun in the sun. But Annie’s life holds a dark secret, a secret shared by far too many in our world, and Annie decided to share that secret in the hope that there would be No More Fake Smiles on the faces of our young and vulnerable.
It is bravery with the face of vulnerability that discloses what we all need to hear, so that we can all participate in making this world of ours, a better, safer and happier place for all.
