No Never Alone

There are so many individuals that make many promises concerning the betterment of our nation. Many a politician continually promises better conditions and improvements. The truth is that none of them are able to deliver everything that they promise and only keep pointing fingers at each other. Our nation is in need of something much greater.

In the last days there will come mockers and continually doubt and question the return of the Lord Jesus. They will do this through verbal attacks but also by lives that are contrary to what they say that they believe. Do you really believe that Jesus could return morning, noon or night?

The believer has been given a new name, a new promise but also a new power. We are heirs together with Christ and recipients of being sons and daughters of God by adoption. Yet, so many are powerless in difficult circumstances. Jesus helps us to understand how to retain our power and to realize that His personal presence is the most important thing of all.

So many believers are so fearful of serving God because they believe that as soon as they serve God, they will be attacked by the devil. This is an absolute necessity, but how does one deal with this process of dealing with an enemy at the gate.

The great enemy is not very creative. He uses the same tactics to cause individuals to look away from God and fall into sin. Jesus teaches how we are to deal wit the devil.

There are many interruptions that occur in a person's life. Many experience the interruption of traffic, construction and untimely calls but God interrupted the believer's life as they were on their way to a Christless eternity. He gave a new direction and set one's feet upon a rock and established their goings.

We have been sent as lambs before wolves. We have also been told that we are lights in the midst of darkness. God places us in a godless world in order to let our light so shine before men. A godly life is to be lived in a very difficult world so that all may see the goodness of God in our lives.

Many have believed the lies that have come from so-called prosperity preachers. The truth is that God supplies all our needs in Christ Jesus and from it comes the instruction on how to find contentment. The believer must come to the place where they state, "Christ is all I need!"

It has been 16 years ago today that my mother went to be home with the Lord. She is sorely missed but there is much to learn and to teach for others that may be going through the same time in their lives.

David at a time of trouble will teach how it was that God had formed a spirit of fearlessness. That same formula is available to all those that are willing to take the principles given in his Psalm.
