No Never Alone

There will come a time that all of us will breathe our final breath in this world. We all leave by illness, accident or age and some by acts of violence, and the question arises of what will be said when I depart. Paul offers up his final words as he is now ready to be offered up.

There are times that it seems that all of life is just perfect when in reality it all looks great but it is all temporary. The waters without the Lord are bitter and bad. The water that has come into our lives is sin and death accompanies it. Only the Lord can heal the poisonous waters of sin.

Following the greatest sermon that Jesus ever preached (the beatitudes) he followed up and told believers that they were the salt of the earth. This would demonstrate the great influence that believers have in a dark and decaying world.

There are many that have stated that God will never give you more than you can bear, and that statement is not true. There are times that the weight of this world becomes unbearable and crushing. Listen to this episode and understand the works of the God of all comfort.

There are many times that life will give us bitter waters to drink but God alone can sweeten bitter waters.

The one thing that will undo a home, church, business or nation is power struggles. When there are many chiefs the Indians suffer. God is to be the sole person in charge of the believers life. He places individuals in positions of leadership and they are to submit all authority in their lives to God.

The Christian life was never meant to be lived out and experienced alone. The life we live belongs to the Lord and we are to allow others into our lives to witness the goodness of God as well as the flaws of man. There are no Long Strangers in God's army.

There are many things that would be considered as problematic for the world but Jesus will address the worlds' greatest problem with the greatest news ever delivered and the greatest offer laid before the world. All this is because He lives.

There are certain things that can be done to guarantee success or to predict failure in one's service to God. Through the lives of others there are lessons to be learned in order that we learn from them and not repeat the same mistakes.

The Israelites had just been delivered from the hand of Pharaoh and were freed from their bondage. They were promised to possess a land that flowed with milk and honey and that God would go before them and fight their battles for them. Having all of these promises, they failed to enter into the land of promise. There were three things that they did to keep them from enjoying the land of peace and promise and those same three things will keep many from enjoying God's peace for their lives.
