The quarterfinals didn't produce many upsets but still provided some great entertainment and some outstanding performances 

• Yann Sommer can only do so much as the Swiss were missing some key players for their game against Spain but it was the missed penalties that would eventually send them home
• Italy beat the number 1 ranked Belgians but at what cost?! Spinazzola is now out for the tournament and there less than impressive replacements available for the Azzurri
• Denmark are the story of the tournament as they improve with every game to get past a very good Czech Republic side
• England may have an unfair advantage playing almost all their games at home but the boys reckon they are the best team left in the competition.
