After highballs and heroes (a very unexpected hero), Robert and Brad identify the three things each has learned in the last week that should result in the removal of trump from office.  The issue wasn’t coming up with three it was trying to decide which of the dozens of offences to leave on the table.

You’ll hear about Fixers and Devil Dogs.  They talk about trump thinking he can outsmart Woodward and America’s foreign policy being for sale…cheap.

The guys end up debating the importance of Jim Carey versus Andrew Jackson before finishing on a high note talking about their kids. 

In between the occasional raindrops in Robert’s backyard the two No Puppet Partners eschewed their customary highballs (it was just noon after all) and talk politics. They identified their Black Heroes, reviewed the conventions, talked about burning buildings and tried to prepare listeners for some ugly months upcoming.  (Special shout out to Robert’s daughter…the first female voice to appear on the show as she helped us set up and took some pictures at the beginning of the session)

OK, this week was a little different.  For the first time the two of us met in person, at Hazel’s Diner, to record the podcast (Robert's treat).  While eating lunch we did manage to discuss our heroes, the convention, GOP presidential hopefuls, the new Senate report on Russian collusion and, of course, trump’s love letters to Putin.  The conclusion, as always, was “Orange Man Bad”.  Thanks for listening!

What a week!  We’re a couple days late this week because we wanted to discuss the VP selection.  Senator Harris will be great.  We also talked about our hero; the Post Office and had a very short discussion on Smart Republicans.  Interestingly, our Smart Republican conversation involved the word “stupid” 17 times.  Thanks for listening!
