Takimba is a DJ, music producer, and curator with over 20 years of experience in the electronic music scene. His style is characterized by a seamless fusion of electronic beats and global influences, resulting in a captivating and distinctive sound.

Takimba is also the founder of several music projects, including Heartbeat Silent Disco, Symbiotica, Get On Up, and Takimba and Friends. Through these projects, Takimba has collaborated with artists from around the world and created unique and immersive experiences for audiences.

We chat about his early years touring with The Grateful Dead and Phish, the early rave scene, and how all of that evolved into a moment at last year's Phish Dick's that has set him on a path of creating music with no safety net!
