Hello loves! We haven't abandoned you! There's more NYC improv comedy fun to come!

preciousgorgeous.com

Enjoy this improv scene from Max Carney's episode of No Suggestion.

@NoSuggestionPod is privileged to be graced with the presence of one of NYC's most delightful improvisors, actor, teaching artist, entrepreneur, baker, and improv comedian, Sarah Morgan Ashey (@sarahashey).

Guest co-hosts Jake Joseph (@f00lish_b0y), and Kate O'Neill Martino (@indiequeen14), and Ralf, have a blast chatting with Sarah about everything from gums of the 90's, to Paul Giamatti, to the tale of Sarah's fancy haunted couch. Amidst all this, Sarah tells us the story of how she started her wonderful Kolache bake shop in Bushwick/Ridgewood, on 321 Starr Street, Kings Kolache (@kingskolache).

We also get tons and tons of improv in on this episode, including a scene where we peek in on an especially amorous bodega. This episode is one of my favorites, pure fun, and laughs, from beginning to end. We just know you'll be as charmed by Sarah as we are. Check us out!

And if you want to see Sarah in action live, visit King's Kolache, catch her at Comedy Sportz NYC (@csznyc) at The Rat (@theratnyc), or as part of True Facts improv team at The Armory (@thearmorycomedy)!

Starting a new series where I have on some of my favorite past @NoSuggestionPod guests and we have a chat about what we've learned, big and small lessons, in any and all parts of life, and those lessons and stories turn into absurd improv comedy. It's my pleasure to be joined this week by Elann Danziger (@danceathonelann) and Rich Templeton (@richhunttemp) this week. Our trio gets to talking about everything from the surveillance state, patience, adulting, car maintenance, and more.

We also fall into some hilarious improv scenes, including several visits with Batman and his Gotham rogues gallery. I really enjoyed the start of this new series and was glad to kick it off with Elann and Rich. Come hang out with us.

A treat this week on @NoSuggestionPod to have on my old friend, colleague, and teammate, actor, IT specialist, beatboxer, rapper, North Coast member, personal finance coach, comedy teacher, and musical improv comedian, Mel Rubin (@melrubin2)!

Guest co-host Hannah Marias (@hannah_marias), and I, gab with Mel for an hour about everything from yacht rock, to Mel's new initiative coaching people on personal finance (@money.with.mel), musical improv vs regular improv, fitness, our life philosophies, and much much more!

We also get into some silly and giddy improv scenes with Mel, including a fun scene where we discover some vivacious older women who take over a skate park. Mel has been a dream guest for sometime, and she doesn't disappoint! We learn a lot, and we laugh a lot. Take a listen!

Had a blast on @NoSuggestionPod this week hanging with actor, writer, content creator, midwesterner, and improv comedian, Casey McCormick (@itsmecaseymc). Joined by guest co-hosts Aaron Linker (@alinklink) and April Sickler (@asickler), it's a party RFB studios as we chat with Casey about everything from growing up in Toledo, Ohio, to siblings and step siblings, why Casey no longer works at the UN, and much more!

We also manage to get in quite a few rowdy and hilarious improv scenes, including one about a free-spirited grandpa who really loves his family. We just had a blast with Casey who was so easy-going, open, and funny. What a chill, yet unpredictable hang. Tune in, we know you'll be as charmed by Casey as we were.

@nosuggestionpod presents a new improv comedy series: The World Series! There’s a wide world outside of comedy, a world full of people with interesting careers, experiences, and philosophies, that have nothing to do with the world of comedy. Listen to the No Suggestion family ruthlessly mine those worlds for comedy!

We have a fun hang getting to know fascinating story of Rumela Mitra aka @djlobocop on this newest installment of The World Series. This week I'm joined by incredible guest co-hosts Surriya Ahmad (@emergencyimprov) and Meghan O'Malley (@megsomalls). Rumela has so many incredible details to her life, including moving to NYC, fresh out of college, just weeks before 9/11, her parent's unique careers, Rumela's own dynamic career arcs, and more!

We do a ton of improv on this episode, and it's a wild time! I was just transfixed by Rumela's story and I'm thankful she took the time to come share it with us. Tune and hang with us!

Such a special episode of @NoSuggestionPod this week as we welcome a former colleague I really admire, actor, filmmaker, midwesterner, teacher, mentor, advocate, twin sister, and improv comedian, Abby Pierce (@plainoldabby).

There's so much to talk to Abby about, and co-host Aston Hollins (@astonhollins), guest co-host Alex Sanchez (@alboogieeee), and I really have a blast learning all about Abby's fascinating journey. We learn a little about her job working for the legendary non-profit Drama Club (@dramaclubnyc), what it's like to be a twin, how Proactiv stains towels, how the two excellent short films Abby's just made (@soboom_runitback) are doing the rounds on the film circuit, how those films were inspired by her work with Drama Club, and how Abby's training at the legendary Piven theater prepared her for the work she's doing now. And that actually only scratches the surface of what we find to talk about with Abby.

Amidst all of that, we also do a ton of hilarious improv with Abby, including a scene that details the origins of one of America's most iconic chefs. This episode really blows my mind. Abby is such a powerful, determined, visionary person. We really have fun, and are inspired getting to know her, and we know you will be too! Tune in!

This week on @NoSuggestionPod we have a rare treat, a one-on-one hang with my friend, classically trained actor, professor, member of the legendary Astronomy Club (@astronomyclubcomedy), Bay area native, and comedian, Shawtane Bowen (@champagnetaneinc). Shawtane and I have a beautiful hang for an hour and chat about everything from Phil Jackson, to Sauce Walka, to lone wolves, to The Last Dragon. We check in with one another, and do what we do best, which is dial in on some real talk.

We also do a lot of ridiculous improv scenes, including scene about a two bros on camping trip gone awry. It's such a privilege to hang with Shawtane. We really get where each other is coming from, and we have so fun to doing improv together. This is a special episode and I'm glad to share it with you all.
