On Saturday, Vice President Kamala Harris told a crowd in Nevada that she would eliminate taxes on workers’ tips if she becomes president, just two months after former President Donald Trump made the same proposal. Trump said he embraced the idea of no tax on tips after a Nevada waitress who served his table explained that the government was taking too much of her money. The proposal was then added to the GOP’s 2024 platform.
