We’re calling these games jerk simulators because they gave us all what we really wanted. The ability to unapologetically be a jerk to everyone we meet. Whether it was a goose, a rain cloud or a hole in the ground, we lived out our jerkiest fantasies in these short, harmless cute little games.

A classic first person shooter set in the 1960’s in the fictional underwater dystopian city of Rapture.

These games were creepy, eerie, make your skin crawl and your stomach hurt side scrollers. One achieving this with very little detail and one with far too much.

These games were a throwback to the 2D and 3D platformers of the 90’s following a cute lizard and bat power duo in their quest to collect a bunch of feathers and pages and overthrow the tyrant Capital B.

A resource gathering ever expanding 2D open world game.

This week I played Hypnospace Outlaw on Xbox One Developed by Tendershoot, ThatWhichIs Media & Michael Lasch and published by No More Robots. This was a nostalgic deep dive into the internet of the late nineties.

A cute little puzzle game that was challenging at times but full of the good feels and oh so many puns.

An interactive story game full of dark spooky hallways and lots and lots of jump scares.

This week we tried out 3 goofy physics games. Who knew that pressing buttons and picking up boxes could be so difficult and so hilarious at the same time?
