In the last leg of the European triple-header, the teams headed to the Temple of Speed at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza for the Italian Grand Prix. Sprint races returned for the second time with Valtteri Bottas qualifying first. George Russell claimed a memorable podium finish ahead of Lewis Hamilton, with the top 10 drivers handed half points. Lando Norris also survived a nasty smash in qualifying in a rain-sodden weekend in Belgium as the fans went home wet and disappointed.
