  • ’Que Sera , Sera’
CLR Show 1733. Air Date May 17, 2022.  It's difficult to preserve a functional democracy when half of its political structure is mired in a fatalistic belief in its own demise and openly facilitating anti-democratic processes in a desperate effort to preserve a soon-to-be-non-existent 'white hegemony'. The result can only be default to the control of the military-industrial forces powering the country, and whatever it/they deem to be acceptable levels of freedom for the populace ...unless we figure it all out before it's too late.

  • Once, There Was Full Faith and Credit: The Friday Show
CLR Show 1732. Air Date May 13, 2022. Of all the constitutional crises facing America at this time, perhaps the most consequential will involve a denial of full faith and credit to the punitive state laws directed at women crossing state lines for legal abortions.  'Pro-Choice' states will refuse to turn these women and their providers over to 'Right to Life' states––whose legislatures, in turn, will choose to 'confederate' in the ultimate pander to the red-meat base.  Counter-accusations of constitution busting will lead to a self-trivialized Supreme Court decision that will be largely ignored.  Unless––and against all odds––republicans in position of authority immediately begin taking the constitutional survival of this nation seriously.

  • ’...And Then They Came For Me...’: The Friday Show
CLR Show 1731. Air Date May 6, 2022. At a time in our history when three sitting Supreme Court Justices openly lie to Congress about their intent to overturn Roe v. Wade, it would be foolish to imagine that a wholesale restructuring of American liberties to reflect the ideological and theological aims of a radical minority is not within the realm of possibility. The too silent majority must assert itself––now. With Friday Co-Host, David Bach.

  • An Alternate Ending... Please?
CLR Show 1730. Air Date May 3, 2022. On a day that Trump's 3 Supreme Court nominees swore under oath would never come, the Court––per a leaked draft of it's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson––appears prepared to destroy it's underpinnings, it's reputation and any hope of future credibility as 'the Court of last resort' by overturning Roe v. Wade. Which is to say, the Supreme Court of the United States is about to officially put an end to functional American democracy. Unless, of course, it changes it's mind before 'publishing' the leaked opinion. Or is it already too late?

  • What Comes Next?: A Noble Hearts Forum
CLR Show 1729. Air Date April 26, 2022. An unusually comprehensive discussion of the likely and not so likely outcomes of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Featuring Noble Hearts Forum Panelists, Dr. Charles Webel, John Cugini and Prof. Stephen Bronner. Be prepared to consider critically important factors rarely identified, much less examined, by media of all political stripes.

  • After He’s Indicted: The Friday Show
CLR Show 1728. Air Date April 22, 2022. The perceived invulnerability of Donald and the tacit permission slip he offers to pandering republican legislators to do whatever the base will grin about, with no thought to real world consequences, will all come to a crashing end when the former president is indicted for the highest of crimes against the United States.  The worst of the potential consequences to the country can be avoided by republicans if they would only act in their own self-interest––now. With Friday Co-Host, David Bach.

  • Logistics, Benjamin!
CLR Show 1727. Air Date April 19, 2022.  Success, from a political perspective, is increasingly defined by social media response.  Moreover, positive social media response is clearly not dictated by logistical or tactical execution of stated positions, on any side. Operating in this way, we are rapidly surrendering critical knowledge of what a liberal democracy is and how it should operate, much less focusing as a nation on the logistical processes critical to the practical preservation of our democracy. And we're running out of time.

  • Apocalypse... Why?: The Friday Show
CLR Show 1726. Air Date April 15, 2022.  Organized Religion has the ability to promote a common moral code, to do charitable works and to promote affiliation beyond denominational borders to an extent and with a force that as no other organizations can exert. And yet they refuse to promote cross-border affiliation in any meaningful or effective way. If we sank into an apocalyptic state, that affiliation would be the only way out of it. So why not promote nonsectarian affiliation now? With CLR Friday Co-Host, David Bach.

  • Unforeseen Connections
CLR Show 1725. Air Date April 22, 2022.  There is a perfect connection of sorts that must and will be established between the work of our intelligence agencies in producing amazingly accurate Russian war plans weeks in advance of their execution, and the activities of those same intelligence services in producing damning information about January 6th insurrectionists. This is the information that will ultimately convict sitting members of Congress and the disgraced former president himself, and it must be shown to be the highly credible product of those same intelligence professionals, not the repurposed content of 1/6 Congressional Committee files.

  • Shooting the Non-Violent Messenger: The Friday Show
CLR Show 1724. Air Date April 8, 2022. We've gotten to the point where even members of the Liberal community are decrying the Non-Violent Resistance Academic Community for not being relevant or effective in the current Russo-Ukrainian situation. It's so easy to forget that all effective non-violent resistance programs must be generated from within movements––a la Mahatma Ghandi and Martin Luther King, Jr.–– and that the N/V Academic Community is our necessary window on how these things work and why they should be pursued.  We are all too ready to lay blame where it doesn't truly belong. With CLR Friday Co-Host, David Bach.
