Interestingly, preference for democracy remains high in Nigeria, but dissatisfaction with its quality is growing. An Afrobarometer survey conducted in partnership with NOIPolls in March 2022 showed while majority of citizens prefer democracy to any kind of government and half described the country as democracy with major problems.
