  • # 100: Our Story Of The Space In Between
~~nOMad's The Space In Between Podcast 100th episode!!!~~
Congratulations to Phoebe Leona and all of our guests in celebrating our 100th episode! In this episode, we take a trip down memory lane of our favorite episodes with nOMad teachers, Phoebe's mentors, new & old friends and others' stories that parallel each other in living within "the space in between".
Settle in and discover how others' stories may even parallel your own, as we re-listen to these stories of self-discovery within a common theme of addressing anxiety during times of "the in between" when we may not even know what the outcome of life will be.
In this episode, we re-discover and view this theme of anxiety by learning:
-That grief can open up the foundation of a true recognition of love, with poet Gisela Stromeyer.
-How yoga is a "warm up" practice to real life "off the mat" uncertain moments, shared by restorative yoga teacher Jillian Pransky.
-Helpful tools to help us recognize our individual patterns and learn to open up to new possibilities, from nOMad senior teacher Corinna Ricard-Farzan.
-The power of labeling our anxiety for what it is, with nOMad senior teacher Samantha Fulton.
-How giving ourselves the time to pause is truly a gift, as discussed by nOMad senior teacher Juan-Carlos Piñeiro.
-The importance of staying in touch with our friends and learn by their stories, from Edwinna Bernat.
-Recognize when times of change are needed, by Dante Puleio.
-Know that when the illusions/dreams we create shatter, that we can let it go and begin again, from Prem Bodhi.
-The importance of deep connection and living authentically can help us let go of expectation and create intention, from nOMad founder Phoebe Leona.
Even though we all may have anxieties in the unknown parts of our lives, our hope here at nOMad is that we can find laughter, joy, and connection throughout these spaces of the in between.

  • #97 The Lion's Den
    Episode 97: The Lion’s Den
Our tables have turned, dear nOMads!
As we approach our 100th episode, our next few episodes will feature past The Space in Between guests as THEY become the podcast presenters and ask the questions and lead the conversations!
Come into “The Lion’s Den” with David Lionheart and nOMad founder Phoebe Leona as David asks and finds what is the heart and intuitive guidance that has led Phoebe to finding where she is in life right now and how she has discovered balance in the roles she has taken on.
Since their last conversation, Phoebe gives light to the alchemy she has created through her own observations in herself and others so that she could really come to know what is the next step in the roles of her life and how she can educate others to do the same.
David offers a self-discovery tool that you can all try at-home to help you see what roles you are playing in your life, and where you are most putting out your energy into the world, and Phoebe expands on this practice in offering the theme of developing roots of where you are to take the time to slow down and really listen to what your intuition is saying.

  • #96 Dissolving the Ego: Pt 2
Episode 96- Dissolving the Ego: Part Two
Following from last week’s discussion of The Ocean Archetype and the dissolving of the Ego, Phoebe Leona dives in deeper to discover and give you the tools of courage so you can seek to find “the unknown” in your life, and be willing to see life from a different perspective.
Using the analogy from Rumi’s poem “The Chickpea and the Cook” Phoebe sets the tone of what is taught within the yoga sutras of Ego-that when we address the “why” of either the choice of sitting in our uncomfortable hot-pot of stew in life, or addressing the why of “why is it so uncomfortable?”, we can see that our ego naturally wants to take us to the most comfortable places possible.
Listen in this week to discover some new tools and self-discovery questions to ask yourself, so that you can let go of the feeling of “having to sit” in this hot stew, to then maybe (just maybe…) relax and enjoy the warmth of the choice to be there in the first place.
For some guidance into finding new ways to look at your life from a new perspective AND to learn how to shift the old stories you may tell yourself, but are just not helping, check out our NEW teachable course:

  • #95: Dissolving the Ego
These past few weeks in nOMadland we have moved from the archetypal themes of Aletheia: Goddess of Truth that is showing us our own refections.
To the Apocalypsis: "End of the World" that reveals the chaos that has been there in our lives this whole time.
To now this week of The Ocean: the Dissolving of our Egos.
Phoebe looks at these themes in a bigger perspective using the U.S. society as a whole as an example of how taking our own "little us" patterns can actually contribute and reflect some of the macro-lens of the "Big Us" in our collective communities.
    In this episode, discover:
*Why awareness practices and healing modalities are so needed right now.
*How our own truths reflected can be seen by seen on a bigger scale.
*Why disease begins with a message and how imperative it is to listen.
*How we can start showing up for ourselves in these moments.

  • #94 Meet Colby: Her Story of Biohacking
Episode 94 Meet Colby Rolando: Life Mastery Coach, Nutrigenomics & Biohacking Educator, and Energy Healer/Teacher.
Once a dancer, always a dancer.
This was the story and dream that kept Colby pushing forward in life.  After receiving her BA in dance, Colby felt the pull to move to NYC in pursuit of her dreams of dancing. After a year of training on in various forms of dance on scholarship at the Alvin Ailey Dance School she decided to let go of that path after feeling pulled into the local yoga community.
This lesson: of letting go of old “stories”, was what helped liberate Colby into a world more authentic and directed towards what the universe was asking her to do.
From this point, Colby began to study and learn about different modalities of revitalizing and healing the body through various modes of healing; such as Reiki, Personal Mastery Coaching, Rising Star, & Premabirthing.
One of Colby's greatest passions is educating people on the biology of aging and the POWER of a new, emerging area of science called Nutrigenomics – the study of how plants or natural compounds affect our genes. Through cutting edge technology you can turn on your body’s own mechanism to heal itself from the inside out.
Colby and her husband, Ray Rolando, own their own Wellness company called Elevate-Well, where they offer different types of these healing modalities to help others to:
-Sessions of Nutrigenomics (Bio-hacking) to teach clients to take control of their own biology.
-Heal and awaken to their highest capabilities.
-Help clients find tools and modalities to reach their highest levels of health and vitality.
-Empower and set up plans with their clients to create the lives they have been working so hard to achieve.
