If there is anything we have learned from the last year and half is that things are and always will be subject to change. Especially in the job market. The Non-Corporate Girls (@noncorporategirls) know how timely a conversation on positioning yourself and being intentional on your next best move would be valuable to their community. There was no better person than Kimberly Brown, expert in Leadership and Career (@kimberlybonline).
Ayanna (@the_aya_brand) and Delaila (@Missdelailac) want you to feel empowered after listening to this episode; then go after the raise you well deserve, land the job you were afraid to apply for or simply get back on your network's radar. No matter where you are in the journey there is much to gain from this episode. Kimberly dropped so many gems and her book Next Move, Best Move will be a great follow up to get even more insight and make your next step one you are truly proud of.
Kimberly has been #ObsessedWith several things but two on the top of her list are her health, Grae Wellness Studio (@graewellness) and coffee from her favorite cafe Boss Blend (@bossblendcoffeeco), an afro-latina owned shop in Newark, NJ

The Non Corporate Girls climbed over the 100th milestone episode and now they’re back to close out Season 5. Both Ayanna (@the_aya_brand) and Delaila (@missdelailac) have used the Summer months to recharge and re-align. With so much happening in the world it’s necessary to reflect inward as often as possible. From weddings to silent internal wars; the ebbs and flows of life in between create a sweet spot for magic to still take place. Your favorite 5-9’ers are reminded to tap into gratitude and their solid connections to keep pushing forward. In this weeks #LetsTalkAboutSegment the ladies discuss the ongoing journey of self-discovery and what that looks like.
#ObsessedWith is Vanessa Bryant, widow of Kobe Bryant and mother of 4.

100 Episodes, over 100 hours of recorded content! Wow, Non-Corporate Girls did that. Such a surreal moment to digest. Ayanna (@the_aya_brand) and Delaila (@missdelailac) reminisce on how the podcast got off the ground. Helping to tell the story of the many guest who trusted them both and opened up about their personal experiences. It is no easy feat and knowing that statistically podcast don’t often last past the 7th episode it is a huge accomplishment to arrive to 100. In the next phase of recording 100 more episodes the ladies are challenged with digging deeper, elevating and continuing to share insight that resonates.

Although we are half a decade into cannabis legalization in some states the landscape for women has been rapidly changing. Non-Corporate Girls welcomes The Dank Duchess (@thedankduchess) an international Hashish Consultant, Cannabis Cultivator, and Public Speaker using all available media to achieve her mission to help spread cannabis and psychedelic wellness awareness globally. Dank Duchess walks Ayanna (the_aya_brand) and Delaila (@missdelailac) through her journey from first being introduced to the opportunity to marking her own place in the industry. For women growers this episode is to learn of yet another woman in the business and for those interested in stepping into the industry this episode serves as a resource to be empowered. Either way there is much to learn of the intricacies of the cannabis industry.
This weeks #ObssessedWith is Dank Duchesses interest in microdosing, a technique for studying the behavior of drugs in humans through the administration of doses so low they are unlikely to produce whole-body effects, but high enough to allow the cellular response to be studied.

Authenticity (adj) defined as not false or copied; genuine; real. We hear this word a lot but are we living up to the meaning? The Non-Corporate Girls Ayanna (@the_aya_brand) and Delaila (@missdelailac) dive into their own personal situations and realizations of what it means to be authentic and when it was that they finally arrived to step into their own authenticity. Their testimonials are surely relatable to many or at the very least will be a reminder to others to begin living their own authentic lives. Don’t waste another moment being anything other than YOU!
The tea is also hot this episode with a few celebrity drama stories and a dissolved business that left both of your favorite founders needing to assess plus more. Sip at your leisure.

We grow through the experiences we live through. Much like the lessons we learn as we navigate life the same is to be said for building your personal brand as it relates to your business. Ayanna (the_aya_brand) and Delaila (@missdelailac) at one time or another have faulted by giving away too much for too little. In this episodes #LetsTalkAbout segment your favorite founders share insight on how to redirect the kind of conversations that should be consultations.
