  • Ep 93 - The Kind of Manager We Wish We Had

There are instances where we get to become the person we needed when we were in a certain scenario or position to create a different outcome. One of those scenarios is being a manager. In this discussion, Ayanna (@the_aya_brand) and Delaila (@missdelailac) bring up what it takes to build a company culture that allows you to thrive and where you feel set up for success. In their previous experiences, they both lacked that kind of support. Your Business Besties leaned into their community to ask a few questions including what makes a great manager? In our #LetsTalkAboutIt segment @Kimmydole, @SkylineGlamChica @DrKatieOgrady and @dominirican914 chime in on what they feel a great manager exudes.

Tune in to listen to this week's #HustlerSpirit topics that include some mega boss moves made by women and a little young lady who found success during the pandemic. Plus the occasional tea on what's trending in pop culture. This week's #ObsessedWith is founder Arlan Hamilton (@arlanwashere), author of Its About Damn Time, host of Your First Million podcast, and investor to over 170+ startups

In one of their more special episodes, Ayanna (@the_aya_brand ) and Delaila (@missdelailac) chat with their respective sorors. Ironically the paths overlap in more ways than one but in this interview, the ladies are not chatting Greek life. • Ep. 85 - It's Never Too Late for Change

Summer Summer Summertime! And just like that season 4 of Non-Corporate Girls goes on hiatus. Thus far this season has been one for the books for both Ayanna (@the_aya_brand) and Delaila (@missdelailac) amidst a pandemic, systemic racism infiltrating law enforcement and worldwide protest to continue putting pressure on government officials both ladies have managed their best to still show up for themselves and their communities.

The 1st half of Season 4 was symbolic of so many things and one thing NCG can attest to is that the way life used to be no longer serves us. The world is ready for a change! We will circle back after our hiatus to see what we were able to accomplish. Have a great Summer! In the meantime be sure to stay tuned for newsletters and upcoming Lunch & Learns. This week's #ObessedWith is none other than or beloved Social Media Manager Carla Renee Dubose (@creneemonae). Peace from your favorite founders.
