They have suspended operations and laid off all employees. They are not anticipating a 2021 season. NFL.com reports that the Washington Redskins were in on the Amari Cooper bidding until the end. The big DeAndre Hopkins trade that shook up the NFL has yet to be finalized, but Kliff Kingsbury isn’t concerned that they will have it completed before the NFL draft. (Trade took place on March 16th) (Waiting for physicals to make the move official.) Brandin Cooks was traded to the Houston Texans along with a 4th round pick in exchange for a second round pick. (This is the 3rd time Cooks has been traded since entering the league in 2014. He’s 26 years old.) Todd Gurley takes to Twitter to tell Rams that they are "past due" and to "send me money"; Gurley had a fully-guaranteed $7.55 million roster bonus from the Rams due on the third day of the league year. Fullback Roosevelt Nix signed with the Indianapolis Colts. DeAndre Washington is signing a one year deal with the Chiefs. Atlanta Falcon GM Thomas Dimiltroff is on record as being “very comfortable” with the status of Todd Gurley’s knee, though he hasn’t had his official physical for the team yet. Brandon Aiyuk underwent core muscle surgery on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported. AJ Green is fully healthy and working hard according to head coach Zac Taylor (reported by Field Yates). HBO announced the team for their hit show "Hard Knocks" this week and for the first time ever there will be 2 teams. The Chargers and the Rams.

President Trump held a phone call with the leaders for each of the major sports brands, including Commissioner Roger Goodell, reports indicated that the phone call went well and the NFL season is still on schedule for September.
Eli Apple is a free agent once again after another deal falls apart. He was set to be a Raider before his deal fell through.

Cam Newton was officially released by the Panthers earlier this week.
Trent Williams, left tackle for the Washington Redskins, continues to seek a trade out of Washington. He also wants to be in the Redskins “Ring of Honor”.
Robbie Anderson signed a 2 year deal with the Carolina Panthers worth 20 million dollars with 12 million paid in the first year.
Hours after Anderson agreed to move on from his time with the Jets, New York signed Breshad Perriman to a one year deal worth up to 8 million dollars.
Devin Funchess signs with the Packers. He gets 1 year, 2.5 million with lots of incentives built in.
Demarcus Robinson headed back to the Chiefs for 1 year, 2.3 million.
The Cowboys continued to work on a deal to keep Dak Prescott in Dallas. It’s being reported by Ian Rapoport that, “Prescott, no doubt, is going to be among the highest paid quarterbacks in the NFL.”

Darius Slay was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a third and a fifth round pick in this year’s draft.
The Rams were left with a decision to make in regards to Todd Gurley on Thursday, as they would have 10.5 million become fully guaranteed at 4 pm. They could roll forward with the 13.05 million they owe him this year, pay him 7.55 million, take the cap hit and cut him or trade him. They ultimately had to release him.
The Rams also put Brandon Cooks on the trade block on Thursday afternoon.
The Raiders signed Nelson Agholor to a one year deal.
The Broncos released Joe Flacco on a failed physical designation. It’s Drew Lock time in Denver.
Emmanuel Sanders heads to the New Orleans Saints. The deal is worth 16 million over the next 2 years.
Melvin Gordon signed a two year contract with the Denver Broncos. It's a 16 million dollar deal with 13.5 of that guaranteed.
Todd Gurley went home to Georgia just one day after being released by the LA Rams. He goes to the Atlanta Falcons on a one year, 6 mill dollar deal. After the offset, due to the language of the contract and his 7.5 million dollar check from the Rams for being cut, he's due to make 11 million dollars in 2020. That keeps him as one of the 3 highest paid backs in the league.
