liminalism_ an experimental dreamworld where anything is possible and nothing is as it seems

brasileiro grooves from banda black rio

caboclo folk from renata rosa

a sexy new uk release from j caeser

70s czech jazz fusion from the jan hammer group

polite 80s rap from whodini

unreal brass harmonies from kokoroko

super chill bossa from chet baker

a HUGE thai banger มันแปลกดีนะ from Ter Rewat

and that’s just the first half hour

there’s a lovely disco section, some downtempo ambience, a ravey section and then the last 20 mins is any other business

PEACE ✊🌝

🪼 SEASON 5 🐸_beta version | back after a hiatus, go easy on us | gospel soul, pan asian dubstep, belgian resistance jams, cousin kula, dolly parton et al | some of this show was corrupted so we've lost my elon musk diss track and the jack dejohnette into jungle blend 🥲 but still MUCH MORE to enjoy

HNY bitchez 🪩👃🪩 we're back and belly flopping into 2025 with unparalleled range and a haphazard approach 🦢 lots of edits and remixes in this one including disco house Dusty Springfield 👻 and a jazzy cover of garage classic Gabriel that you simply must hear 🐡 a foray into Irish hip hop and a tribute to Algerian legend Cheb Hasni ☄️ always live, never planned and packed with protein 🫛

🗡️🐟

ho ho ho_ merry yuletide and welcome to one final instalment of whompers for 2024_

music from geordie greep, temz, idris muhammad, a ravey section, a magic mushroom experience, central cee and dave, medieval christian core, a smooth disco roller and a couple of unexpected xmas tunes.

"ohhhh yes believer, he come from the glory, he come from the glorious kingodom"

love you for listening <3

_genuine trigger warning_ at the 1.5 hour mark there's triggering tune by immortal technique. followed naturally from barbara streisand but i sort of forgot how dark it gets. so do skip that if you're not feeling up to it - you'll know when its the tune, its a story.

other than that there's a south asian whompers mix to kick off, an ethereal ambient mix dedicated to my friend max, new music from Haumea and Caoilfhionn Rose, some aja monet, a bouncey trancey anthem one, a song featuring birdsong of the dunnock and some legends era bristol dubstep from Joker.

and then there's a section about the UN campaign 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence which wrapped yesterday, followed by some powerful feminine bangers so it all sort of comes full circle.

all live all improvised all over the shop _ non stop whompers 🧟‍♂️

new 🌶️ re-up or Yada Yada, a night in south manny 🦧 it featured lemon jousting and music from my good broskis joaquin cornejo and hermanito 🌏 global sounds from norwegian nouveau disco to tehranian psych and manc bruk 🎊 with a bit of MF doom thrown in for good measure 🎭

happy friday y’all 🐶🐸🧟‍♂️

country from carrie underwood, bass from the bug + flowdan, brasilia from elis regina + antônio carlos jobim, acid from max graef and dub from yellow man - and that’s just the first 5 tunes. elite vibes and dodgy blends from across the ark
