The party tries to find who in the city's government might have been behind the bandit attacks that brought them together.
Conviction tries to arrange a back way onto the prestigious Plateau to spy on the wealthy and titled. The party discovers that the bandit attacks were arranged by someone within the city government, someone who might be working to destroy the city.
Conviction returns to the library, and asks some questions of the bardic community about the storm, the missing Chief Magistrate, and a few other things.
The party goes looking for answers with the few allies they've made so far. Some amends are made. Probably no further blood pacts. Who can say?
Ren spends some time trying to make a connection with Melora, and makes a new friend, and Conviction's relentlessness gets her in some trouble.
The party returns to the city of Ibis to report what they found in the storm-struck village of Tellik, and their suspicions that it was only a trial run for a bigger, more devastating attack on Ibis itself. Ren goes looking for answers to their visions at the Mater's Green: the city's temple to Melora.
The party fights some enormous seafood, and returns to Ibis, afraid a much bigger attack is in the works.
The party investigates the damage to the village, and find that there was certainly magic involved: destructive, dangerous magic. But why attack a tiny village, far from anything, with nothing much worth stealing?
The party arrives in the village of Tellik, recently victim of a terrible storm. But might there be something more sinister behind the disaster than just bad weather and pirates?
The party takes a commission to ferry a load of supplies to a storm-struck town, and perhaps investigate the mystery of an unusual pirate attack.
