Along the way Rich helped form a baseball league for children of special needs, the Miracle League of Massachusetts as original president, and has helped raise millions in the fight against cancer and for children's hospitals. Rich won a "Voice For Victims" Award after helping to save a kidnap victim when he witnessed her abduction in downtown Atlanta.
