In this episode we finally get to spend 30 minutes (Actually 23 so I'm getting quicker...) investigating the Sámi people, their origins, where they live today, the languages that they speak, their culture and day-to-day life and some of the difficulties and persecution that they have faced, and continue to face today.

This time around we are looking into the life, times and work of the Finnish author, illustrator and painter Tove Jansson and in particular what she is best known for - The Moomin series of books.

I’ll finish off with a Nordic News Roundup - this time featuring stories from Iceland, Finland and Denmark and covering civilised scandi-style protest, the Beast from the East, anger with Disney and Impeachment!

In another radically titled episode we'll take a look at everything to do with the Nobel Prizes and their ongoing association with both Sweden and Norway

We’ll start off with a basic overview and then delve into the life of Alfred Nobel, take a look at the Nobel Foundation, the different Nobel Committees and the awards process including the ceremonies, lectures and what each of the winners receives (and it’s more than I thought).

I'll wrap things up with a look at some of the controversies and scandals that have occurred across the years including the Swedish Academy scandal of 2017/2018

This time we I'll be taking a look at 3 key concepts of Nordic mindfulness, namely Hygge, Lagom and Sisu  plus there's my own take on how to live a happy, fulfilled life (be careful ......) - All of which will hopefully allow you to deal with everything (and anything) that 2021 can throw at us.

And, the News Roundup is back!  and I'll be catching up on some of the Nordic news stories that have caught my attention over the past couple of weeks.
