TVC 599.5: Part 1 of a two-part conversation with Norma Maldonado, the actress that most of you know for her recurring role as the telenovela director on Jane the Virgin, as well as her appearances on such top shows as Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Good Doctor, Superior Donuts, The Librarians, Modern Family, The Closer, and Amazon's Mad Dogs.

Norma is one of the stars, along with Mark Hapka and Camila Banus, of Sweet Navidad, a new holiday movie from Lifetime TV about a pastry chef who must partner with a rival chef to create a menu for a grand event at a luxury hotel on Christmas Day. Sweet Navidad also captures the essence of a Puerto Rican family during the holidays (including the unique tradition known as parrandas). Sweet Navidad is scheduled to air on Tuesday, Dec. 13 on Lifetime TV, plus it is available now for viewing on demand on Peacock.
