We are going to face adversity like Nehemiah when we are doing the Lord's work. How are we to overcome it? Like Nehemiah, we should avoid distraction, pray to God, and continue pushing to do the work.

There is a lot of confusion in the world regarding how Christians should interact with those in the LGBTQ+ community but it all comes down to love. As Christians, there are four extremes that we need to stay away from when interacting with the LGBTQ+ Community.

We have a responsibility to love our Christian brothers and sisters always. For those inside the church, we also have a burden of spurring them towards growing in their relationship with God.

As Christians, we are called to be a friend to and to love and pray for those in the LGBTQ+ community outside the church. This is the best way to show them Christ.

We live in a world that is broken by sin, which means we need to know how to handle grief. Four different principles are found in God's word that deal with managing grief.

1. We grieve because God grieves

2. God is near the broken hearted

3. God heals the broken hearted

4. Hope in the age to come

This message is the first in a series of three messages where we aim to identify how Christians should interact with members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Romans 16:17-27

After his personal greetings, Paul has a final thought he needs to share, a warning for the early church. The book of Romans is a wonderful letter that reminds us we all have sin and need saved by putting our faith in God and his son Christ Jesus.

Romans 15:22 - 16:16

We continue to see Paul's passion for the advancement of the gospel message. Further, we see that we can play a part of the bigger Christian movement that goes all the way back to Jesus and his apostles.

Romans 15:1-21

If you want be a servant of God and to be proud in your work in the advancement of God's kingdom, you must have passion and ambition to share God with others.

Romans 14:1-23

Quarreling over matters of opinion is sinful behavior and very divisive. We need to stay away from this and live for God instead of ourselves. We should also not be a stumbling block for other believers.
