Romans 13:1-14

Living a Christian life life means subjecting ourselves to the governing authorities, loving God and other people, and putting off the works of darkness.

It's easy to get stuck in a rut and only go to God with negative things, but we can also praise and worship Him in our prayers. Practicing this can improve our relationship with the Father. Stay in communication with God, putting a sharper focus and intent on praying to Him. What an opportunity we have to go directly to the Father in prayer!

God and all of heaven rejoices when a sinner repents because God wants to seek and save the lost. Our purpose as a church to expand God's kingdom means seeking and saving the lost. This brings great joy to the Father.

Romans 12:9-21

When we put our faith in God and Christ, we are called to live differently. Paul details 22 examples of what that looks like in this section of his letter. Find two details in this list you can work on in your life this week.

Romans 12:1-8

We need to be presenting our whole lives to God as an offering. This is how we worship and bring glory and honor to God. It is not just how we spend our Sunday mornings but how we serve God every day.

Romans 11:11-36

We cannot possibly repay God for His abundance of grace and everything He's done for us. To God be the glory!

Romans 10:14 - 11:10

It's OUR job to share the gospel saving message with the people in our lives. For, how can they believe if they don't first hear?

Romans 9:30 - 10:13

We are declared righteous through confessing Jesus as Lord and believing God raised him from the dead. Because of this good news, we can be confident in our salvation and be sharing the message with others.

Romans 9:6 - 29

God is a just God who offers mercy and compassion to everyone. Through our faith, we determine if we will be an honorable or dishonorable instrument for God's glory.

Romans 8:31 - 9:5

God is so loyal and faithful to us that he didn't even spare His own son for us. Because of God's great love for us and Christ's sacrifice, we are justified when we put our faith in Him.
