Many people experience same-sex attractions at times, or know someone who does. There is a prevailing narrative at work in modern western culture which is at odds with the biblical story. This sermon seeks to expose the lies behind the worldly cultural narrative and to remind us of the truth of God's unchanging Word, while offering hope to those who experience these kinds of temptations.

What should I do when I've sinned against God- Perhaps no passage of Scripture gives a better example of deep repentance and a prayer for forgiveness and cleansing as Psalm 51. This sermon explores the psalm and teaches us how to pray when we've messed up.

Jesus adapts the Old Testament imagery of Israel as God's Bride to warn the people in His day of their rejection and destruction. God will, however choose a new people for Himself. Even here, though, there is a warning to all who hear and apparently respond to the gospel invitation.

The Kingdom of Heaven seems upside-down to a messed-up world. In Christ's Kingdom, the first is last, and the greatest is the servant of all. But these are not mere characteristics or abstract principles. This is the way of the Kingdom because it is the way of the King.

Are there rewards for following Christ- Will Christians always be blessed- Who will be most honored in His kingdom- Jesus addresses these questions for disciples ancient and modern with an encouraging affirmation and a gentle correction.

A rich young ruler's interaction with Jesus challenged his assumptions about himself and about his conception of who Jesus was. This sermon challenges all hearers to examine their own thinking about these issues, and to cry out to God for the grace to follow Christ.
