It's the North of Scotland Football League Podcast Christmas Special and Dave and Grant were delighted to be joined by Bridge of Don Thistle stalwart/ambassador/chairman/legend Lewis Muirhead on this week's show.
We reflect on Bridge of Don Thistle's season so far, Grill League Cup success in the final over Stonehaven and the journey to date for the north Aberdeen side. Lewis also reflects on his time as manager of the club and how everyone is in it together as the club strive to reach the promised land of league glory.
The guys then review the weekend's action across the Premiership and Championship. In a weekend where Bridge of Don Thistle, Longside and Rothie Rovers all drew, victories for Stonehaven and Hermes hauled them closer to the leading pack. Meanwhile, Dyce also recorded a comfortable win over Lossiemouth United while Buchanhaven Hearts continued their fabulous running by beating champions Culter in the Blue Toon.
In the Championship, with Fraserburgh United not in action, Deveronside and Newmachar United took full advantage to close the gap at the top while Hall Russell United were shut out by Westdyke at home. Elsewhere, there was a nine goal thriller at Dufftown, impressive wins for Burghead Thistle and New Elgin and a masterclass from Glentanar where Grant was in attendance.
As usual the lads give their medallists of the week, early thoughts on the North Regional Cup ties at the start of January and look ahead to the "back 9" half of the NOSFL season.
Also featuring Lewis's best away day, lovely pies and indirect assists!

Another massive weekend occurred across the North and North East of Scottish Football in Tiers 6 and 7.
In Part 1 of the show, Dave and Grant sat in the stand at Cove Rangers FC to review all the action from the Premiership which included Rothie Rovers winning again, Culter and Maud recording solid 2-0 home wins, East End claim back to back league victories of their own and Sunnybank stopping the rot with a creditable 1-1 draw against Hermes.
In the Championship, Fraserbugh United's 4-0 defeat at Deveronside was only partially punished by Hall Russell Untied who only drew 2-2 at Dufftown allowing Newmachar United to close the gap with a 6-1 win over Glentanar. Elsewhere, Forres Thistle, Burghead Thistle and Westdyke claimed excellent 2-goal home wins.
There's also our medallists of the week and a look ahead to the final round of matches before the Christmas break.
In the second part of the show, Grant and Dave review the Grill League Cup Final.
Bridge of Don Thistle left it late but edged past Stonehaven 2-1 in a closely fought final at a gusty Balmoral on Sunday. Where was the game won and lost? Could this be the first of many trophies for BODT?
We get post match analysis from Man of the Match Harvey Yeats and BODT manager Jamie Watt as well as reflections from Grant, Dave, and North of Scotland Football League connections Chris Auton and Brian Johnston as the first trophy of the season was awarded.

In the Championship, Fraserburgh United edged out Glentanar while there were big wins for Nairn St Ninian and New Elgin. We also discuss Dufftown's excellent win at Cruden Bay.
Meanwhile, 6 of the 8 games in the John Reilly Memorial Trophy survived the weather and Culter produced the eye catching result of the round so far beating Premier League leaders and Grill League Cup finalists Bridge of Don Thistle 4-0. Joint managers Barry McDonald and Derek Theman join Grant and Dave for this week's NOSFL show.
The lads discuss Forres season so far, responding well after a slow start and getting some decent results including a win over New Elgin and draws against Banchory St Ternan and Stoneywood Parkvale. We also discuss the set up at Logie Park and plans for the next few months and years ahead.
We then review the weekend's action as always. In the Championship, Hall Russell United and Forres Thistle accounted for half of the weekend's goals. We discuss what went well and not so well at Denmore for our guests. We also chat about big wins for Nairn St Ninian, Banchory St Ternan and Burghead Thistle too.
In the Premier League, Dave was at Simpson Park to see a six goal thriller between Islavale and Banks O Dee and remarked on a quality cup of coffee! Meanwhile, it was a tough start for new Ellon United manager Ian Gillan after Maud won 7-1 at the Meadows on Saturday. Grant discusses why Ian needs time to get his feet under the table and insists all the credit must go to Ryan Christie's team who have now scored 33 goals in their last 6 games. Elsewhere, Rothie Rovers went top with Bridge of Don Thistle not in action and Culter kept apace too.
As always medals of the week including Dave picking teams and games for medals like they are going out of fashion!
