In a world filled with unbelieving people in unreached contexts, and at the same time, unbelieving people who are continuously exposed to God's Word, the question that dawns on us continuously is how they get saved! Acts 8:26 - 40 gives us a clear perspective on this prevailing question, which Pastor Allan Waruhiu, through three main points, seeks to answer and persuade us from the text based on the Ethiopian eunuch's conversion.

Humans are plagued with various fears in this world, which drive us to multiple responses. This is the same case in our text in Exodus 20, where we see the Israelites drawing far from God when they witnessed His tempestuous entry at Mount Sinai. However, as seen in this text, God's intent has always been to draw near His people by displaying His person to them which creates a holy and awe-filled response in them. In the same breath, in this day and age, Pastor Richard Chege aims to show us how just like the Israelites of old, each of us has committed serious offences against a mighty and holy God. We are fugitives pursued by God's wrath and justice and have nowhere to run unless it is to Him.

1 Samuel 30:1 - 8 paints a picture of the hope we have in times of affliction, and our posture during such times. The question that prevails is during these times, what do you stand on; where do you turn to? Whilst in turmoil, David sought to encourage himself in the Lord as he considered God's past faithfulness, present presence and future promises. Pastor Chris Kiagiri, in this sermon, aims to encourage us that in our distress we strengthen ourselves in our God!

Mark 12:13 - 37 portrays a scenario where Jesus is questioned by doubtful, conniving Pharisees and Scribes whose aim is to trap Him in His words. However, as we will see herein, Jesus is not afraid to be questioned. The Christian faith is a faith which faces tremendous scrutiny, but at the same time, it is pegged on the One who embodies perfect wisdom. John Musyimi, in this sermon, seeks to show us that Jesus has the answers because Jesus is the answer!

This passage in Mark 12 follows a contentious moment from Mark 11 where chief priests and scribes questioned Jesus' authority. It demonstrates a rather alarming scenario where Jesus describes what happens to people who dishonor and disobey God's rule and command. However, as we will see in this sermon, God's wisdom surpasses man's folly, whereby He uses their actions for His ultimate purposes, demonstrating who is actually in charge. This Psalm of Asaph highlights a reality that continuously plagues us as pilgrims on this earth: the wicked prospering! We are at times perplexed by this occurrence in our world, and we tend to, at times, envy the wicked, like Asaph in this Psalm, seeing their lavish lifestyle whereas, simultaneously, they hold no reverence for God. How do we reconcile this reality in our minds? This is the question that plagues us. Mark Ben Thuku, in this sermon, seeks to convince us from this Psalm that because the wicked will perish in the end, we should not envy them in the present!

Following Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, Mark 11:12 - 33 provides a rather different turn of events. In the preceding texts, He inspected the temple and the place and left, but in this text, He promulgates and enacts judgment in the temple, signifying His ultimate purpose of why He came to the earth. Contrary to what the disciples were expecting from Him in overthrowing the present Roman rule, Jesus came with a different agenda. John Musyimi shows us in this sermon that fruitless religion in God's Kingdom is fated for judgment by God's King!
