This Psalm of Asaph highlights a reality that continuously plagues us as pilgrims on this earth: the wicked prospering! We are at times perplexed by this occurrence in our world, and we tend to, at times, envy the wicked, like Asaph in this Psalm, seeing their lavish lifestyle whereas, simultaneously, they hold no reverence for God. How do we reconcile this reality in our minds? This is the question that plagues us. Mark Ben Thuku, in this sermon, seeks to convince us from this Psalm that because the wicked will perish in the end, we should not envy them in the present!
