In this passage in Judges 3, we see God acting in divine and sovereign ways to achieve an ultimate end. Upon Israel's disobedience towards God, God leaves various pagan nations among them that through them, He may test Israel to see whether they will keep His commands. Like a wise coppersmith, He uses the nations as tools in His hands for the chastisement of His people in order to achieve His intended end, His glory. This also applies to us as His saints in this day and age; God uses various circumstances and people to shape us into more Christlikeness and for Him to be glorified in and through us. Pastor Richard Chege, in this sermon, shows us that our testing is very important and necessary, and God will do whatever it takes to fulfil His ultimate purpose, His glory!
This is a continuation sermon on the book of Judges done by Richard Chege.
