Do you want your life to matter? Do you have hopes of using the time you've been given to make a difference? We all do. Two of Jesus' disciples had aspirations for accomplishing big things in their lives. Jesus' response gave them and us a whole new perspective on what greatness looks like.

Have you ever asked God for a miracle, but it never happened? It can be hard to understand why God - who has the ability to do anything - sometimes seems unwilling to do anything. When Jesus encountered two sisters who were grieving because their miracle hadn’t come, he taught them and us why God can seem so inconsistent in the miracles he provides. God’s primary focus is not to alleviate our grief or suffering, but to elevate his glory and salvation.

Have you ever created a mess in your life? Sometimes the mess, and the guilt that comes with it, can lead us to question whether God could still love us. Is God's grace still for me?
