It's been a long stretch of months since we did an episode in our chapter by chapter series on Brandon Sanderson's the Way of Kings, and we're so glad to be back. This year marks the tenth year since the conclusion of Robert Jordan's epic fantasy series The Wheel of Time. Tragically, Mr. Jordan passed before he could finish the series. His estate, led by his wife and editor Harriet McDougal, hired Mistborn author Brandon Sanderson to finish the series with the aid of Robert Jordan's notes. Now, a decade later, Brandon is finally allowed to share with the world a handful of secrets he had promised the Jordan escape to keep until the 10th anniversary of the final novel, A Memory of Light. In this episode, the Three Rivers Boys react to the big new that's been making waves in the fandom. Spoiler alert for the entire Wheel of Time series!!!

The Three Rivers Boys ride again! After an extended holiday break, the boys sit down to talk about Brandon Sanderson's latest novel in the Mistborn series, The Lost Metal. This is the fourth novel in the second era of Mistborn and the seventh in the overall series. We run through our favorite moments and characters as well as what we think of the book as a whole.
