John comes with a lifetime experiencing the presence of God in ministry and mission. To say that speaking on “bravery from the book of Acts” is in his sweet spot, is an understatement. This message will encourage you to keep being filled with the Holy Spirit.

God has ordained certain seasons (kairos time) for His people which demand from us timely obedience. God can do anything except overcome a complete lack of discipline;. This is an intentionally provocative statement. Salvation is by grace alone through faith. Yet we are called in the New Testament to make every effort to become all we can be through the sanctifying work of the Spirit with our obedience to His leading and the guidance of the Word of God.

As we started a new year at Northern Life, this message challenged and encouraged us to make good God honouring choices regarding living for the purposes of Christ’s glory. The message is based on a short text regarding Moses in the middle of Hebrews chapter 11. Moses chose purpose over the riches and identity offered to him as a prince of Egypt. May we also live for the purposes of God in this generation.
