What did you think of today's message?

Jesus, knowing they were out to get him, moved on. A lot of people followed him, and he healed them all. He also cautioned them to keep it quiet, following guidelines set down by Isaiah: Look well at my handpicked servant; I love him so much, take such delight in him. I’ve placed my Spirit on him; he’ll decree justice to the nations. But he won’t yell, won’t raise his voice; there’ll be no commotion in the streets. He won’t walk over anyone’s feelings, won’t push you into a corner. Before you know it, his justice will triumph; the mere sound of his name will signal hope, even among far-off unbelievers.

What did you think of today's message?

When Jesus left the field, he entered their meeting place. There was a man there with a crippled hand. They said to Jesus, “Is it legal to heal on the Sabbath?” They were baiting him. He replied, “Is there a person here who, finding one of your lambs fallen into a ravine, wouldn’t, even though it was a Sabbath, pull it out? Surely kindness to people is as legal as kindness to animals!” Then he said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” He held it out and it was healed. The Pharisees walked out furious, sputtering about how they were going to ruin Jesus.

What did you think of today's message?

Imagine your coziest Christmas memories and the traditions that make the holiday season truly magical—now picture them woven into an audio tapestry, rich with laughter, nostalgia, and a dash of the profound. That's what we're unpacking in our latest episode, where the aroma of pine from a freshly cut Christmas tree meets the chuckles over nose clippers in the stocking. Our vibrant discussion takes you through the debate of real versus artificial trees, the joy of festive pajamas, and why certain movies and songs are as essential to the holiday as Santa himself. Amidst the light-hearted banter, we pay homage to the cherished ritual of Christmas Eve services and the timeless story that continues to inspire hearts year after year.

Prepare for a surprising twist as we transition from tinsel to the cosmic narrative of Revelation 12, where the nativity takes on an epic battle between light and darkness. We're peeling back the layers of this allegory and what it means for the essence of Christmas and the hope it heralds. The episode culminates with a powerful conversation on the anticipation of Jesus's second coming, contrasting the humility of his birth with the glory of his return. It's a contemplation that invites us to embrace the season not just as a collection of traditions but as the celebration of a living truth that has the power to transform our daily existence. Join us for an episode that promises to enrich your holiday reflections and maybe, just maybe, redefine what Christmas means to you.

What did you think of today's message?

One Sabbath, Jesus was strolling with his disciples through a field of ripe grain. Hungry, the disciples were pulling off the heads of grain and munching on them. Some Pharisees reported them to Jesus: “Your disciples are breaking the Sabbath rules!”

What did you think of today's message?

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

What did you think of today's message?

The word peace is the Hebrew word shalom which means completeness or well being. Jesus did not come just to end wars, but to make us complete by saving us from our sinfulness.

What did you think of today's message?

The angels appeared to the shepherds in the fields nearby to announce that a baby has been born in a manger. The angels describe Jesus' birth as “good news of great joy” because he came to be our Savior!

What did you think of today's message?

Advent is about faith and waiting. What are you waiting on God for this year? Remember the years of silence as God's people waited for the Messiah.

What did you think of today's message?

Next Jesus unleashed on the cities where he had worked the hardest but whose people had responded the least, shrugging their shoulders and going their own way. “Doom to you, Chorazin! Doom, Bethsaida! If Tyre and Sidon had seen half of the powerful miracles you have seen, they would have been on their knees in a minute. At Judgment Day they’ll get off easy compared to you.”
