During January, we have the wonderful opportunity of listening to folk from our community share their story of following Jesus. We had the pleasure of hearing from Maria and Kieran this week. 

Jesus is called the Prince of Peace in Isaiah 9. What does it mean for Jesus to be the Prince of Peace, and how can we receive His peace in our hearts and minds this Christmas season?

Anna shared on The Thrill of Hope on Sunday as part of our Advent series.

Hope is a dominant theme throughout the Christmas narrative. The light that Jesus brings is different to the world's definition of hope. Biblical hope can help us to courageously partner with what God is doing in our world, bringing light to the darkest places.

Rob kicked off an Advent series this week, sharing on Your Kingdom Come.

Rob helped us get prepared and get our mind set into Christmas, a time of the coming of the kingdom.

This week Chris wrapped up our series on the Life of Paul, looking at Paul The Disciple.

Chris spoke to us about finishing well, as he took us through looking at the end of Paul's public ministry.

Bonnie continued our series on the Life of Paul, looking at Paul The Persistent. Persevering is hard! It deeply shaped Paul. 

Bonnie felt God put on her heart a challenge for her and for us: God wants to challenge us that some times we give up on things too soon, on relationships. Sometimes we walk away at the first hard thing, or first conflict....BUT the line is a bit further than you think it is.  

Rob continued our series on the Life of Paul, looking at Paul the Joyful Servant.

"Joy comes from living under the authority of Christ. Jesus says you've got to come under me and then you will know true joy, true freedom."

This week we had the joy of Bec Gelding sharing with us. She continued our series on the Life of Paul, looking at Paul The Evangelist.

She reminded us, "It's not up to us to paint the masterpiece. We don't have to be good at painting, we just have to be the paintbrush."

We heard from Jonathan Ives on Sunday as he continued our series on the Life of Paul. Jonathan and Tanya are planting Centrepoint Vineyard Church in the Northern Beaches, and shared on Paul The Church Planter.

Chris continued our new Series on the Life of Paul, sharing on Paul the Misfit.

After Paul’s radical conversion, he wasted no time in beginning to tell the world about this Jesus he had encountered. However, he discovered that not everyone was ready to listen to him. For the first years of his ministry, Paul was a misfit—and it turns out we can learn a lot from his experience.
