Northwest Bible Church

We like a sure thing… we want to know how everything will work out before we even get started. But then we’re met with a roadblock… a job loss… a lousy health report… a relationship ends… and we’re stuck in this place of uncertainty.

When facing the Unknown, we need to focus on our Heavenly Father, who tells us—even when we can’t see the way out—He’s in the middle of it with us… walking with us every step!

One man with a problem. One Savior with the solution. Four friends willing to do whatever it takes.

It’s on the news… it’s in stores… it’s being addressed in our schools. The Transgender Movement is becoming more and more loud and visible.

But it’s so much bigger than just an issue of gender. There’s a spiritual battle being fought over men and women, boys and girls… people who were created in the image of God.

For those who know Jesus as their Savior, it’s not just a political issue. It’s not just a matter of opinion. We have the Answer… and how we respond to those around us who need Jesus matters.

The world is watching.

Peter gives us practical insight in 1 Peter 4, showing us how the unknown of the future should impact how we live our lives… right here… right now… today.

In part five of the Unknown series, Pastor Matt shares about the life of Hannah, in 1 Samuel 1, as a practical example of someone who faced the unknown… and how God carried them from despair to hope!

Hope… that thing that we want, and oftentimes, while we’re trying to dig around and find out what’s next… find out what we’re so uncertain about… we’re looking for some hope. Sadly we look for hope in all the wrong places.
