eFUNIAK SPRINGS — A 23-year-old man was arrested on 12 charges, 10 of them felonies, after he allegedly head-butted a Walton County sheriff's deputy Saturday.
According to an arrest report, deputies were searching for Jerel Lamar Davis on Lee Street about 10 p.m. after DeFuniak Springs police said Davis was allegedly involved in two vehicle thefts and car burglaries.
A deputy located the stolen vehicle reported by the DeFuniak Springs police a few miles from a disabled white Ford pickup truck reported stolen by the truck's owner, which Davis allegedly stole.
