After the collision, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid to the man, the FHP said. The car, a 1998 Honda Passport, was later located at the Emerald Grande in Destin. The driver has not yet been found.

A man who was just 17 when he was involved in a gang-related killing has died in prison.

Erich Lenquell Justice died April 25, according to the Florida Department of Corrections website. His death at Holmes Correctional Institution is under investigation, according to DOC officials.
