Despite leading the nation in progressive *policies* for the transition to renewable energy, Washington ranks *dead last* in clean energy growth.

Faced with a backlog of projects, lawmakers and energy developers are looking for new ways to move forward. Some say the answers might come from Texas.

45 people representing Washington businesses and government agencies went last month on a study mission to see how that state is getting it done.

Gov. Tina Kotek is ordering the state to stop issuing license plates to undercover Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. OPB’s Bryce Dole reports.

Last month - Oregon environmental regulators issued three POINT two million dollars in fines against three Pacific Seafood processing plants. And now, as OPBs Alejandro Figueroa reports, a group of state lawmakers is asking those regulators to pause enforcement while the company appeals.
