A group of mechanics and car enthusiasts are running free automobile light repair clinics in Eugene and Springfield. KLCC’s Macy Moore reports:

People evacuated in Spokane have started to make checks on their neighborhood - to see if their home is damaged.

Each night after work in Spokane, people on e-scooters, bikes and carpools go to see their evacuated neighborhood.

Many are grabbing belongings, while others roll in to see [if the power’s on or] if the house is still standing.

If you’d like to know just how bad the smoke in your area could get, an interactive map could help. The tool from Washington State University is part of an air quality project for the Northwest. It now predicts air quality over the next three days.
