The U-S Supreme Court will hear one aspect of a case out of Illinois this fall that may affect how residents vote in Washington state.

A bill that would add electric wheelchairs and other ambulatory devices to Oregon’s ‘right to repair’ law is awaiting the governor’s signature. KLCC’s Zac Ziegler [ZIG-ler] reports that a person at the heart of the bill is an Oregon State University student:

They provided some of the first publishing opportunities for gay and lesbian writers, they discussed complex issues with care, and before the internet, they were one of the few windows into a community that was often overlooked by mainstream media, including in Eugene.
