Well it's here and it's... going to be very quiet! Deadline day has arrived, for some it's a glorified event of people believing deals haven't already been agreed days in advance. For others, it's another reason to cringe at Jim White looking at his phone claiming to have received a text with a sudden twist in a transfer saga. Either way, it's here. We're back for some more transfer rumour goodness... (well, not so much goodness.) With the window closing & Norwich City still in the market for two very important positions (centre-back & defensive midfield) the transfer speculation is rife. William Carvalho (on the day of recording - 26/8/21) is the latest name to be tipped with a move to Norwich City following a report by Sky Sports. His name was added on the big list of Norwich City transfer rumour next to Rostov's Mathias Normann, a Norwegian midfielder of the same position, but not much calibre. We discuss the two, as well as Norwich's upcoming fixture versus Leicester City.

Norwich City kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 defeat to Liverpool but, as expected, it was overshadowed by the spectacle of a roaring Carrow Road.

Welcome back to Norwich Talk! As is often the case when we take a short break, it's been a busy week for Norwich City. We chat about the incomings of Josh Sargent & Christos Tzolis as well as the quashing of the Todd Cantwell to Aston Villa rumours before we look ahead to Norwich's opening day of the season clash with Liverpool.

So... it's been an interesting week. NCFC twitter has been its usual charismatic self with a few panicking about our transfer methodology following an interesting tweet from an account that is often making claims we are expected to believe. We dissect the arguments from both corners about whether Norwich City are actually prepared to face Liverpool on the opening day of the season or whether it's going to be another turgid season of pain ahead.

Daniel Farke has signed a new contract with Norwich City, keeping him at the club until 2025. The news seemed almost inevitable at times and is more than deserved. Farke joined the club in the summer of 2017 with the ambition of promoting us to the Premier League within a five-year period, he's now done that twice! We deliver our instant reaction to the news.

Welcome back to the Norwich Talk Podcast! We're back to dive into some Norwich City news as all attentions turn back to club football. Jordan Hugill is reportedly ready to be shipped off in pursuit of regular game time with Nottingham Forest interested in acquiring his services. Max Aarons has once again (for the first time in a while) been tipped as Everton's target right-back with Denzel Dumfries also in that mix. We also go over whether Norwich should switch up formation next season and also whether primary target Phillip Billing should still be a priority following the arrival of Pierre Lees-Melou. Bali Mumba & Jacob Sorensen have also penned new deals with Norwich City so we'll be discussing what we think the plan might be for those two!

We're back with our live reaction to Norwich City's home kit for the upcoming season. A debut for Joma sees Ben & Sam actually, on the contrary to people in the chat, very happy. Here's to hoping for more of it for the second and third kits.

Norwich City have certainly picked up the pace in this summer transfer window with plenty more rumours swirling around as well as the confirmation of both recruitments & departures. Milot Rashica, Angus Gunn & Billy Gilmour have all joined the club with Dimitiris Giannoulis & Ben Gibson making their loan moves permanent, as Marco Stiepermann & Moritz Leitner are released from the club following an agreed mutual termination and Sebastian Soto essentially leaving for good (providing his loan move to Porto goes well.) Thomas Delaney is the latest name to be linked with Norwich, albeit it swiftly shut down by our very own Samuel Seaman. However, the swift crushing of the link raised a few questions in terms of Norwich and how they're choosing to spend their money.
