After he was sent an article in a group chat, Lamin felt compelled to vocalise the historic gem & began making his own reparations of an iconic yet tragic story.

Not only was Len Johnson one of the greatest boxers to walk this earth, he also fought for his beliefs out of the ring, resulting in the Colour Bar being removed in Manchester, and eventually nationwide. The colour bar disallowed people of colour from performing, socialising and competing in British titles… crazy right?!

There’s still huge amounts of work to be done when it comes to Black History and it continues with us.
