Per Usual, Kyle opens up this episode with some semi-informed ramblings- this time, it’s about the history of Thanksgiving. Almost the entire intro is ad-libbed, so you really don’t know what you’re gonna get. Next, we continue the conversation from last episode where we talked about what exactly the Bible is talking about when it talks about “Salvation.” This week, we talk more specifically about the question, “Can a Christian lose his/her salvation?” We wrap up the show by diving into a news story about one of the most frugal people to ever live. Then, Kyle takes a stroll down memory lane, recalling various struggle meals he’s eaten throughout the years (and talks about some of the ones you submitted) and puts them into a tier list. Kyle starts off by recounting a Hail Mary he threw out on social media to verify an incredibly strange childhood memory that involved a beloved cereal mascot committing a murder. The crazy thing is that this memory was (mostly) real, instead of something Kyle made up in his head. Next, we dive into the future of worship music- Artificial Intelligence! The first-ever AI worship song has been written and we take some time to look at the lyrics. If you like “God or Girl,” you’ll love this! Finally, we take a look at what the Apostle Paul says about the word “salvation.” Is it a one time thing or a lifelong process. We look at what the Bible says to set up the conversation for next week- can a Christian lose their salvation?

This episode starts out with the biggest overshare in the history of the show. It involves waking up at 5:30, Dollar General and Pepto Bismol! The majority of the show is spent running through the Worst Halloween Candy Throwdown Tournament! Listen to hear all about the upsets, Cinderellas and Kyle’s newfound love for Necco Wafers! To close out the tournament, we run through all the brackets that were submitted and give everyone an award (because Kyle’s a good Millennial)! In today’s episode, we re-air the livestream! Kyle stalls the first five minutes as the existential terror of going live sets in! We begin the show with an original song that friend of the show, Ty, wrote about Kyle! We couldn’t hear most of the lines because of technical issues, but the ones we did were straight fire! Then, two podcast tournament regulars go head-to-head in a game of God or Girl. Hunter, with the support of Kelsey “Better Than Google” Brown, gets off to a bad start, but recovers nicely. Then Nate, with the support of Haley “Also Better Than Google” Carlson, tries to take down Hunter. Then, to end the show, Kyle absolutely dunks on Jon with one of the best Jesus Jukes in the history of the world, but then Jon actually agrees with almost everything Kyle has to say….

In this show, Kyle finally learns from his past mistakes and does something in the preshow that makes his life easier down the road. Then he recounts how mind-blowing it is to meet Friends of the Show in real life. The bulk of this episode is spent going through the bracket for the Worst Halloween Candy Throwdown Tournament. Of course, you'll hear all of Kyle's way-too-strong opinions on things that ultimately don't matter. Which Candy is going through an identity crisis? We made it to FIFTY episodes! On the eve of (NA)CP’s first birthday, we take a look back at Episode 001 and talk about Kyle's review of the episode. Of course, it involves laughing at his own jokes and talking about Mat Kearney. Then, we talk about several things Kyle has learned throughout the past year of making (Not A) Christian Podcast. To round out the show, we do the impossible and narrow down (NA)CP to top 10 list of moments on the show! Of course, these moments involve humor, rants, theology, tournaments and more!

This episode kicks off with Kyle chronicling all the things that went wrong that almost made this episode not happen. Then we talk about the coming of the shark messiah! The main segment of this show follows the conversation from the past couple of weeks discussing what it means that we are living in a post-Christian culture and what exactly that means for the church and how we should witness to the world around us. We wrap up the show by playing a (NA)CP favorite- Keep It or Can It! We look at things from the fall such as hoodies, caramel apples, Uggs and unnecessary screenshots and why they’re the worst!

Great news: We can be friends! Kyle and the collective (NA)CP listeners finally agree on something- the fact that college football is far superior to NFL. Kyle lays out a multitude of reasons why. You also get to hear about one of Kyle’s most embarrassing moments that involves an accidental text message! The bulk of today’s show explores what it means when someone says that the United States is living in a Post-Christian culture. We lay out some definitions and relate our situation to a couple of situations in the early church. Next, we go through the list of things I don’t like, but wish I did. Of course, foods, music and much more feature in this list. To close out the show, we look ahead to the future live-stream in celebration of the first birthday of (NA)CP!
