I met Evan when he was still living he PA, he was one of my very first coaches. Evan is one of the coolest guys I know, and a super talented rider and coach. Evan has been a huge supporter of Not a Jerry, so I was super stoked to sit down and chat with him.
This week I welcomed our first Olympian, Katie Tsuyuki, to the show. Katie represented Canada in the 2014 Sochi Olympics, competing in halfpipe. I met Katie through Donek snowboards, where she works in Marketing. In her free time Katie enjoys cross country skiing and water sports. She is a new mom who is raising an outdoor baby.
I am super stoked to welcome Jon Gibbs to the show. Jon is like a professor of snowboarding, he has had so many snowboarding experiences and is a wealth of knowledge. When he isn't snowboarding, Jon enjoys mountain biking and fly fishing.
This week I had the chance to talk with Mako Kizuka. I always thought Mako was a cool guy, but after talking to him a bit I learned so much more about him and the sports I love. Mako shapes surfboards, designs snowboards, and has recently started making skateboards. He has been snowboarding for a heck of a long time, so he brings a lot to the table.
Welcome back to Pat Morgan! Pat is the Marketing and Brand Manager for Mountain Creek and Big Snow AD which is part of SNOW Operating. Pat always brings an interesting perspective given his many years and different experiences in the snow industry.
