Healthcare in Ontario is about to get a lot worse. The Ford government announced this week it’s new plan for public healthcare, which involves the outsourcing of surgeries to private, for-profit clinics.
There is a lot to criticize about the decision — especially with the government sitting on a surplus in the budget that could have been used to improve the crumbling system we already have.
Is it time for a complete change to our system altogether, or should we stick with the status quo?

There are a lot of positives to being here, and especially in having a Canadian passport. But our governments and corporate monopolies are majorly screwing the future up for the youth.
I don’t often hear people talking about this, so I wanted to use this platform to discuss some of the reasons why I think it’s going to be increasingly more difficult to persuade the youth to want to stay here.
