  • 1980! The Overly Excitable Boys (Part 2)

Welcome to Part 2 of the 1980 episode - if you remember the boys were very excited to be back in the studio and time ran away from them so this is where we pick the action back up.

It all starts with their brand new feature Uncle Faulty's Naughty Box which sees Del & Phil go head to head in a debate about the Legends, Films & Albums of 1980.

Then we nominate our own Top 3 albums from 1980 before seeing what lunacy awaits when they open some listener Letters & Emails.

  • 1980! The French Fire Engine (Part 1)

That’s right. They’re back! The boys return and this time they are all set to take a proper nosey at the 1980s.

The lads are starting their latest journey at the beginning of that outrageous of decades - 1980 - looking to add to their already vast knowledge of recent history.

As usual, they go through the news of the year, Del has more some crazy records for Jim & Phil to tackle and then there’s the regular look back at the TV, Film & Music of the chosen year before a lively debate takes place. It’s all rounded off by a dip into those listener Letters & Emails.

    This is gonna be fun!!!

As they’d been away for so long, during recording the boys got over excited and kept on chatting so this episode has been split into 2 parts. Part 2 to follow next week.

  • Special Guest - Andrew Sheldon

Local councillor Andrew Sheldon joins the boys in the studio to discuss politics and top of the highbrow agenda are ’POTHOLES’.

Yes, that's right, the boys have gone all serious this episode (not really) and pretend to know their stuff when it comes to the political world.

Andrew shares with us how he started out on this path, what it’s really like in local politics and how it feels to make a difference.

He also regales us with some comical stories from his time involving a certain Boris Johnson!

The boys then strand Andrew on ‘Desert Island Dicks’ for the final probing of this series.

  • Special Guest - Taylor Garner from Soul Case

Taylor - the lead singer of the band Soul Case - joins the boys for this latest episode.

He discusses the band's debut self titled album, their current busy string of gigs in London as well as discussing what's coming up for the band later this year and what we might expect from their next album.

Taylor will also be stranded over on ’Desert Island Dicks’ and he’ll discuss his favourite films and albums of the 90s & 00s.

To round it all off, Taylor performs 2 songs for us in the studio - one a never before heard EXCLUSIVE rendition of a new track!

  • 2009! Done with Another Decade

So, another decade is completed and Jim, Del & Phil round it off in style by taking a nosey at 2009. Worryingly, the personal memories this episode focus heavily on vomit (careful now) which amuses the lads immensely whilst Del recalls his stag do and Jim has great pleasure in telling a story about Del getting electrocuted....twice!! Meanwhile, Phil is maturing as he expects another baby to join his brood but rather blows that theory out of the water with the story that follows - guess what? More vomit!

  • Special Guest - Chris Smith

Film director, Chris Smith, joins the boys in the studio to talk about his latest project - his documentary ’New Town Utopia’ (currently available on Amazon).

He tells us all about the process and associated difficulties of making the film as well as preparing for impending fatherhood.

We also take the time to strand Chris over on ‘Desert Island Dicks’ and he tells us about his favourite films and albums of the 2000s as well as taking on the fiendishly tricky ‘John Cazale Challenge’.

    It’s another great episode!

  • 2008! Duncan's Den

As we approach the final year or two of the decade, the boys discuss everything to do with 2008...and what a year it was! Del talks about our infamous trip to Las Vegas where Jim (possibly foolishly) stands up to aggressive and armed security guards, as well as a very funny Stag Do over to Barcelona with 'Party Boy'. Then we've the usual chat about the year before we round off with some listener 'Letters & Emails' in which we suggest and debate the merits of a new & improved version of Dragon's Den.

  • Special Guest - Kate West

This time around the boys are joined by local musician Kate West.

Kate discusses the many varied things that currently occupy her time - from her solo work and her band through to her passion project "The Nightingale Sessions".

We maroon Kate on ‘Desert Island Dicks’ and during her answers she reveals such diversity as a meeting with Shed Seven as well as a previously unrealised love for films starring long haired lead actors on horseback!

Kate also plays not two, but three songs for us. Two of her own gems along with a fabulous cover of a Portishead hit.

  • 2007! The Year of the Deer

Jim, Del & Phil revisit the year 2007. This was the year that saw the boys travel all over as we hear about exploits in Amsterdam, Blackpool, Jamaica as well as France (where they had an unfortunate encounter with a deer). Jim & Phil go into battle once more in what's becoming a new favourite - the 'Weird Records' game before they come together as a trio and plough through the usual categories:
