Back at Katie's Diner this morning to debrief on recent birthdays, the teachers strike, how the world feels like it's on fire these days and money. We're here talking about what are your non-negotiable things when you need to stretch a buck? What are the things you can leave behind and the things you need to keep going. For J it's butter, coffee dates, cheap Tuesday, and sex (but that's free). For KK it's always $ for beer or coffee with friends and her passion PC Optimum Point hoarding.

As always, we go high, we go low and in conclusion feel differently about the new Taylor Swift album. A little 'showgirl marketing' opposition, if you will. Finally, to quote Jerry McGuire, "SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!".

From babies to babes. We had our second guest last night to record Episode 12. It’s a ‘Coaches Corner’, if you will. There’s a bff competition (bit grim), some discussion around mental health and dissecting a few stigmas, how to spot an online dating red flag from a mile away, and finally, a little moment for our Oilers. Coach McCrea, you were a delight.

While it seems impossible to have rage on the eve of Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals in Edmonton, rage still becomes her in this episode. KK says "yes ma'am" to Ekholm, she's done her research and she unequivocally agrees, he would indeed pull your hair. We discuss the sting of ex-husbands not communicating when they get engaged, rage about lives and experiences we have left behind, but also the peace and solace we have (occasionally) in our non-married lives.
