Welcome back! It has been a little while, and lots has happened since the end of last season like a whole year of design school. This year we are going to dive into the basics; what creates a strong foundation so that we can achieve everything we set out for ourselves -- This also means looking into what is holding us back and taking accountability.
Health, wellness and honesty, this SZN on #NotHereToHide and it's a journey, excited to dive into it and share the progress along!
It's easy to lose ourselves in relationships, or take on the other person's projections. It's easy to take on things that aren't necessarily ours, or even bad. Relationships are the ones that challenge me the most. They can trigger some serious insecurities, but It's the space where I grow the most, and learn the most about myself, if I let myself surrender to it, and trust myself and the process
Here's a slice of my personal life. I had a moment where my mind was racing while I was driving back from downtown. I needed to talk it out. so you get to be on the drive with me. This is unedited, car ride with Veronica. No equipment, just me, my thoughts and my voice notes!
We often strive for better, for more, for different. We all tell ourselves we're goal oriented people. But what are we doing it all for?
Are we trying to be the best version of ourselves or are we trying to become something more because we fear we're not enough?
Today, I'm bringing to you my first interview. She is fierce, she is authentic, she is living her best life! Welcome my very first guest to the Real Talks series : Kennedy Sloane.
She has made bold choices in her life; despite what anyone had to say. It wasn't an easy path but it definitely was -- an unwavering one. How did she do it? How can we all live a life so deeply rooted in our own desires, and never give way to doubt? Tune in and find out...
I talk about vulnerability and preach authenticity, but am I really doing the work? Am I really willing to let myself be seen?
We spend our lives trying to perfect everything we do, from the way we look to the skills we have. But what happens when we start to obsess over perfection? Are we even living anymore? at what point are we willing to say "this is good enough".
Imperfection, is it really that bad?
We often think that we need to be someone important to start something big in life. We don't realise that we need to start somewhere, to become something big! Getting comfortable with the imperfect.
We've all had a hard time lately, (or maybe not?)
but what have we learned the past three months? What's been on brand? I've spent time thinking about it, and vulnerability keeps coming up, so I'm exploring how this shows up.
Diving a little deeper into what Not Here To Hide really means.
