The struggle is real right now, and I'm trying to give myself the latitude to get accustomed to this new life in Chile. But it's not as smooth going as I thought it would be.

Slowly settling in to my new environment and thought it would be a good idea to race my bike, that was a bad idea.

After many big life changes, the podcast is back and I'll be sharing with you this adventure among others as I spend the next six months in Chile training and racing my bicycle.

Hola todos, bienviendo a Puerto Montt!

Hello everyone, I am now even further south in Chile, in the town of Puerto Montt,, its Thursday and this is where the National Championships will be held with the time trial on Saturday and the road race on Sunday. The pre race jitters are here and I am trying to maintain a sense of calm and tranquility while at the same time a razor (and laser) sharp focus.

 The legs are feeling good and the excitement, pressure and all of the feelings are coming onboard as I write this. But I am a cautiously optimistic about the upcoming events.
