The PodKids official pilot episode! I had been wanting to have my daughter on the show for a while. She is 9 years old and one of the smartest kids I know. Xad and I often find ourselves amazed at how perceptive she is. We talk about a bunch of kids stuff, what life is like for a kid under quarantine. Sophia has an incredibly positive outlook on life. She is really excited to start her own podcast and she already has a pretty cute name.
This episode is completely family-friendly.
Frank is a full-time father and part-time master of the service industry. Xad and I could probably talk to him for hours and can't wait to have him back on the show. We talk about life, fatherhood, and how fast time goes by unexpectedly. Frank has a very unique personality, to say the least. We talk about quarantine life as usual. Thanks for listening!

Xad and I were very excited when CJ agreed to do the show. He is an excellent conversationalist and we had an awesome time reminiscing of the past, talking about life and being hopeful for the future. CJ is a musician, father and an old friend of ours. We go back a long time, and we very much enjoyed him taking the time to come and do the show. It's funny how small-town connections always seem to last over the years.
This episode was done while we were vacationing up north. We talk about the different vacations we have been on and the places we visited. I thought it was a pretty good topic to cover during this impromptu session, while we recovered from the previous night's festivities. We were joined by our friend's Chad and E'ttiene who goes by "T." I had been waiting for an opportunity for Xad to talk about his crazy stories from the Dominican Republic too, so that was a cool bonus. You can hear the waves in the background as we talk so it really sets the mood. Northern Michigan is a truly beautiful place to be.
I had been looking forward to this episode for a long time. Mr. Gary Fender is a jack-of-all-trades and an excellent conversationalist. Gary was the first person that collaborated with me on anything podcast-related. We launched our own podcast called "Conversations at the Bar" back when we were co-workers at a local car dealership. We talk about life under quarantine. the tragedies that the world is facing at the time of this recording, and the usual NRTF nonsense.

This episode was performed under quarantine regulations. My friend Zakk works as a "custodial engineer" as he likes to put it lol. This is such an incredibly important job, more so under quarantine life, so I was absolutely thrilled when he decided to come do the show. Turns out life as an essential worker isn't really all that different right now. We had a lot of fun and were joined by Xad running stats for us. We covered many of the usual topics of course.
First episode we did with the new audio equipment! I think it made a huge difference in the quality. We had a lot of fun meeting up during the quarantine, which is really making things difficult as far as scheduling guests. My friend Xad and his brother Luq were on today. I have known these guys since we were little kids and we had a ton of fun. Probably the most social interaction any of us have had in several weeks. Enjoy.
Still under quarantine, I was able to talk my friend Andrew into doing a session. Were back at my place for this one, and we talk about how Andrew wanted to be in law enforcement when he was younger. We also talk about his many many......many head injuries. He had me legitimately worried for him after a minute. Just kidding! It was an awesome time and I was happy to get to talk with him for so long, normally I only get to hang with him when we play D and D.
Xad and I finally record another session during Covid-19 quarantine. We had intended to set up a space in his basement for awhile, and this is the first time we got around to it. We plan on having a nice spot set up for the future sessions. We talk about covid quarantine life and somehow even cover bidets.
Jay is a good friend of mine that grew up literally on a farm. He still helps his father with just about everything around the farm while working full time. We talk a lot about Jay's life growing up and what its like for a real live normal person in rural countryside areas.
