In this episode of The Female Entrepreneurs Network Podcast, I’m diving into the tricky connection between stress and physical pain—something I know all too well from my own experience.
We’re talking about how chronic stress can show up as aches, tension, and all kinds of discomfort, especially for women (yep, we store stress differently than men!).
I’ll share some tips that have helped me, like therapy, body scans, and staying active, plus some game-changers like setting up an ergonomic workspace and practicing self-compassion (because, let’s be real, we’re our own worst critics sometimes).
If you’re dealing with stress-related pain or just want to feel better in your body, this one’s for you! Let’s figure out how to take care of ourselves without the guilt.

Purpose is overrated. What?! Yes, I'm diving into the viper pit that is purpose-aligned businesses in this episode. Because I firmly believe in aligning your business with your purpose AND that purpose is overrated simultaneously.
In this episode we'll talk about how I failed a business, didn't learn from it and happily made the same mistakes a second time. We'll discuss this funny position of purpose in business, why it's good and bad, both.
I have some soul searching tips for you, that will help you find your purpose-ish. And we'll also talk about why you shouldn't take it too seriously.

Building a business as a woman still comes with a frustrating double standard, especially when you’re doing it beside a partner whose work is automatically treated as more legitimate, more serious, more “real.”
You can be building something powerful, intentional, and ambitious, yet people will still tilt their head and call it “your little project.”
In this episode, I talk about the moment I realized just how often women get diminished in entrepreneurship and why this seemingly small language cuts deeper than we admit.
We explore what happens when your ambition isn’t taken seriously, how these micro-reactions shape your confidence, and why so many mompreneurs end up shrinking themselves to make other people more comfortable.
This isn’t a rant. It’s a reminder that your vision deserves space. Your business deserves respect. And you deserve to grow without having to justify your dreams to anyone.
If you’ve ever felt underestimated or brushed off, you’ll feel seen in this one.

Not That Kind of CEO - For Women Who Want More
Personal growth for women who love their life, but still want more.
You're on the floor…
You snap at the people you love over nothing. You can't rest, because resting feels useless. Every September, every new year, every birthday: you go all in on something for yourself. Then life gets lifey, and you stop. Again.
Underneath it all is the sentence you'd never say out loud: I want more.
The reason you're not saying it out loud is that you feel so ungrateful for wanting it. Your life is already so great; why can't it be enough?!
I'm Ayla. I have two little girls, a coaching business, an actual château in France that eats my time, and a hormonal cycle with strong opinions.
I live this life, and I'm not going to tell you to get up at 5 am if you want to achieve your goals.
What I will do is explain what's actually going on.
Why your nervous system can't switch off. Why setting boundaries feels like betraying people. Why you can't achieve your goals even though you're more than capable. Why your future self feels so far away.
Because you can be so hard on yourself. Whether you're going after your big dreams, ready to step into that Future Self, the new identity, or when you're erasing yourself for everyone else's needs.
I've got good news: all of it is programs that your brain has been running for years. And programs can be rewired.
You are NOT ungrateful for wanting more from life. This is your one lifetime, and I encourage you to grab it by the balls and live it fully. All you need to do is to start putting yourself first.
Nervous system, boundaries, achieving your goals, and your future self, all of them go hand in hand.
Welcome to Not That Kind of CEO, here, we admit out loud that we want more, that we were meant for more; and we go grab it.
