There’s a part of all of us that wants to feel special, and as mompreneurs, that desire often shows up in subtle ways. Maybe in the personality frameworks we explore, the labels we hope will explain our strengths, or the quiet wish to be just a little different from everyone around us.
It’s easy to brush that off as ego, but the truth is softer than that.
Wanting to feel special is usually about wanting to feel seen, valued, and understood in a world that asks a lot of us. When you’re carrying a business and a family, it’s natural to crave something that reminds you you’re more than the roles you juggle.
In this episode, we explore why that longing appears, what it reveals about your self-worth, and how to hold onto a sense of uniqueness without disconnecting from the groups you belong to.
You’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of why this desire matters, and how embracing your “ordinary” moments can make you feel even more like yourself.

Most mompreneurs don’t struggle with money because they’re “bad with numbers.”
They struggle because money feels loaded… emotional… unfamiliar… and honestly, a little terrifying. Especially when you’re building a business in the middle of motherhood and your brain is already running a hundred open tabs.
I spent years working as a financial VA, and let me tell you something: almost no one feels naturally confident with their numbers. Not the beginners. Not the seasoned entrepreneurs. Not even the women who look like they’ve got it all together on Instagram.
So this episode is your permission slip to stop pretending you “should already know this” and actually learn the pieces that make money feel safe, simple, and doable. Because financial confidence isn’t about being perfect at math, it’s about understanding yourself, your patterns, and what your nervous system needs in order to make clear decisions.
Inside this episode, we talk about the mindset shifts, tiny habits, and identity upgrades that help you stop avoiding your finances and finally feel grounded in them. If money has ever made you anxious, avoidant, or convinced you’re the only one who “doesn’t get it,” this conversation will feel like an exhale.

I didn’t expect Taylor Swift to teach me anything about business… yet there I was, standing alone in a stadium in Lyon, watching seventy thousand women scream their lungs out, and realizing I was witnessing the purest form of feminine power and leadership.
Something shifted for me that night.
And it has everything to do with how we, as mompreneurs, build businesses in a world that constantly tells us to do it harder, faster, and entirely on our own.
In this episode, I’m breaking down the unexpected business lessons I learned at the Eras Tour, from what happens when women support other women to why collective energy is one of the most powerful forces available to us. If you’ve been feeling isolated in your business, doubting yourself, or wondering where your spark went, this one will hit home.
We talk about clarity, confidence, identity, and the inner strength that comes alive when you stop doing everything in survival mode and allow yourself to be held by something bigger than you.
If you’re craving momentum, connection, and the reminder that you’re not alone in this… press play.

Not That Kind of CEO - For Women Who Want More
Personal growth for women who love their life, but still want more.
You're on the floor…
You snap at the people you love over nothing. You can't rest, because resting feels useless. Every September, every new year, every birthday: you go all in on something for yourself. Then life gets lifey, and you stop. Again.
Underneath it all is the sentence you'd never say out loud: I want more.
The reason you're not saying it out loud is that you feel so ungrateful for wanting it. Your life is already so great; why can't it be enough?!
I'm Ayla. I have two little girls, a coaching business, an actual château in France that eats my time, and a hormonal cycle with strong opinions.
I live this life, and I'm not going to tell you to get up at 5 am if you want to achieve your goals.
What I will do is explain what's actually going on.
Why your nervous system can't switch off. Why setting boundaries feels like betraying people. Why you can't achieve your goals even though you're more than capable. Why your future self feels so far away.
Because you can be so hard on yourself. Whether you're going after your big dreams, ready to step into that Future Self, the new identity, or when you're erasing yourself for everyone else's needs.
I've got good news: all of it is programs that your brain has been running for years. And programs can be rewired.
You are NOT ungrateful for wanting more from life. This is your one lifetime, and I encourage you to grab it by the balls and live it fully. All you need to do is to start putting yourself first.
Nervous system, boundaries, achieving your goals, and your future self, all of them go hand in hand.
Welcome to Not That Kind of CEO, here, we admit out loud that we want more, that we were meant for more; and we go grab it.
